Today I thought of posting a bunch of photos as a prequel to my Wednesday's adventure. And yes, this is all about motion blur. But.. not the one you've tried on Photoshop. This is the Real thing!
Like last time, the cab driver this time *a different guy with same racing instincts* was all hyped up on racing at break neck speeds.. and luckily the roads ran straight for miles and miles.. with hardly a soul daring to cross over. *except for a couple of carefree iguanas*
And these photos were meant to be sceneries en route but instead they turned out to be some real life motion blur. I just didn't have the heart to cast them aside.
....
So... take a deep breath and put on your seat belt! You are about to experience how the F1 drivers and Test pilots see the world outside while racing/ flying at break neck speeds..
revving up the jet engine...
accelerating g-forces from 0G to 1G in 0.5 seconds...
standby...
3-2-1-blast off!
Slanted.. in the Pisa-way
accelerating g-forces from 1G to 2G in 0.4 seconds...
Pulled.. into the oblivion
accelerating g-forces from 2G - 4G in 0.3 seconds...
Painted.. in bold brush strokes
accelerating g-forces from 4G to 6G in 0.2 seconds
World.. adrift in a hazy blur
That's all folks. ^__^
That was fast! No pit stops? ;)
ReplyDeleteI am feeling dizzily.
ReplyDeleteI am feeling like vomiting.
@ K: Ya, it sure was. -__- oh ya, there were pit stops. For fuel just once and for meals, refreshments and other stuff around half a dozen times. =D
ReplyDelete@ Rain: hehe.. it's funny that none of us felt dizzy or nauseating. Almost everyone was busy chatting and me was busy snapping.. so the dizzying speeds didn't bother us much. =D
Wow, you guys seem to get a lot of F1 drivers up there! :D My father drives pretty slow... so speedy drivers scare me! :D
ReplyDeleteNice set of (blurry) pictures Harumi! :D
I also like the new theme... very polished! ;) And saw your update about the camera zoom... they make the image size small since it's digital zoom (taking a big picture and cropping off to smaller size). You will get better results by taking pictures at maximum resolution and later cropping them in the PC... :)
cooool :D
ReplyDelete@ Chavie: Ya, you can get them too if you hire cabs from the most popular cab service here. lol Really? That's good, going slow and steady. ^__^
ReplyDeleteThanks. Yep, it does look cool. Took me a while to get the hang of that 'Blogger in Draft' thingy. =D
oh ya, that's true. I think the agent at Dialog said the same too when I bought this phone but I didn't quite get it at that time. =D I usually keep all image sizes at 1280 x 960, so it's ok I guess.
@ Dee: Thanks ^__^ I bet you could drive faster than this guy. =D
Ohh what a ride! The way you have put-up the post is really cool. Pls give the contact of the driver. I like to be in the front seat of a F1…lol
ReplyDeleteYeah! Even I like the new template pretty much. But there’s a small issue, your header image width is not set to 100% I guess (btw I’m using IE8 & Firefox). Better if you can get that correct. Then the blog will look very neat I guess.
Thanks Anjana. hehe.. he's way too fast but at the same time drives safe.. which is a miracle. =D Not just him, I think most young drivers at this famous cab service here might be on a par with F3 drivers, if they're properly trained. =D
ReplyDeleteThat's greatta hear. I was getting bored of the old theme. oh ya, thanks a lot for pointing that out. The size was originally 648 x 216 px, to fit to my old theme, so I was procrastinating the editing. Now I've changed it. Thanks.
Really? I'm using Firefox when working on Blogger and Chrome for Googling and browsing. The latter proves to be more efficient and fast.
Cool theme. May need to stretch the header a bit.
ReplyDeleteSaw your picasa link too. So we can see all ur pictures in one place :)
Thanks K. And yep, I stretched it.. that was the 3rd time in a row! lol I think editing those headers are way easier than trying to make them fit in to a specific space.
ReplyDeleteOh ya, thanks for adding me. I'm still new to that linking thing in Picasa.. so gotta see how it works. There's tons of pics that I have to add as public too.
Now it looks better. :)
ReplyDelete'Sign in' on Picasa. Then go to any person's home page on Picasa and click 'Add to Favourites' link, just below profile picture.
Thanks K. ^__^ It takes me more time to edit cuz I'm using Photoscape now, so it's almost like I'm doing the whole header by scratch every time I edit its size. -__-
ReplyDeleteThanks again, I did learn that part using trial and error today morning. =D
